Alle Rose Farm Holidays was born from the activity of Risalso Farm estate, our family's property for over 30 years. The reconstruction has given life again to the house where people lived until the 60's. Indeed thanks to the position and fertility of the land and the presence of water, it is an activity worth of all respects. Not only we cultivated lands but we wanted to recover the beautiful house that overlooks the estate and represents the history of this place, not far from the small art-city of Volterra, and at the same time, detached in a slice of Tuscan land.

Our 5 apartments are comfortable, restored in line with Tuscan tradition. Our guests love the care of this reconstruction and the comfort. The beams, joists, arches and stone facades give the house singularity and keep all its ancient glamour. Each apartment has its own private entrance, balcony and a small yard. Some have also fireplace. The kitchens are well equipped and have a microwave oven and tv sat (except two-room apartment no.5 that has only tv via terrestrial network). Walking though a short path among holm-oaks and cypresses, we get to the swimming-pools… The big swimming-pool is 14 x 18 m, the small one is 6 x 8 m., i.e. perfect for children.

Our restaurant is in the old town centre of Volterra, a short way away from Priori Square. So far it has been our main activity, since 1981 we run it personally and nowadays it is one of the largest and loved restaurant in Volterra. You may find our restaurant in many national and international guide-books. We offer a typical Tuscan cooking, healthy and wholesome, with many traditional Tuscan and national dishes. The guests of our farm holidays have the opportunity to have always a table reserved and a special regard, or the rotisserie-pizzeria service directly at the Farm Holidays.

We wish to offer our guests the possibility to have the most pleasant and instructive equestrian activities possible, where they can learn to ride horseback or simply take walks in the forest or countryside.
