In the heart of Tuscany, upon the hills of Alta Val di Cecina, totally immersed in 250 hectares of uncontaminated and peaceful green in the midst of century-old cypress tress and evocative sceneries, you will find the biological farm "Fattoria il Palagetto".
The two ancient farmhouses were built around the year 1800; thanks to a skilful restoration they retain their original structure, typical of the Tuscan farm architecture. S. Elisa and S. Florestano, situated in a panoramic and picturesque position, are about 200 metres far and dispose of 5 and 7 apartments respectively.
Our farm features tradition Tuscan home cooking, valorised by biological products of our farm as well as local products such as vegetables, cheeses and salted pork meats. There is a spacious outdoor terrace – perfect for lunches and dinners - overlooking the surrounding hills and the town of Volterra. Inside there are two dining rooms with small tables with 4 seats or more. We organize wine tasting guided tours, particularly to the wine cellars where we produce our biological lGT wine.
